I created 4 original and unique stickers for Petal Dance: a tarot card, "PD" in melted donuts, a rabbit in a witch hat, and a bumper sticker. The Tarot Card sticker was inspired directly by Petal Dance's 2 EPs "Spellbook" and "Staring at the Sun." I combined motifs from both EPs into a tarot design, utilizing the color palette of "Spellbook" to signify the entry into Petal Dance's new brand style. The melted donut sticker is a reference to "Odd Future," a rap group the band enjoys. Although this design does not fit into the brand identity of Petal Dance, it brings a fun touch to a band that sometimes will not follow a strict creative style. I ordered these stickers in glitter paper to make the design pop more. The rabbit in a witch hat includes a QR code that scans directly to the EP "Spellbook." With Petal Dance being a Salem, MA-rooted band, the mix of witchcraft and whimsical circus motifs is a call to the identity of "Spellbook." The bumper sticker is inspired by the "Ever Dream This Man?" meme. The photo is of one of the band's Media Directors. The Spotify code scans directly to "Spellbook." The band can be odd in humor, so this sticker brings out the band's personality.
