I collaborated with the CD Production for Petal Dance's EP "Spellbook." The EP cover was designed by Douglas DeMars. I designed the back cover and booklet to stay cohesive with its front cover, so the "look" of the CD was a unit. The back of the CD features a handwritten font with the EP title and tracklist. All of the proper credits were given on this side. The design work includes clouds and speckles to continue on from the front. The booklet includes a full, two-sided lyrics sheet featuring the same speckled designs, and a clown to continue motifs seen already in a t-shirt design for the band. The back side of the booklet is a tarot design with the same eye from the back of the CD, playing off of a phrase the band uses often during the "Spellbook" era, "so easy on your eyes." The Japanese spell "Petal Dance," seen as well on a t-shirt. The first batches of CDs include hand-drawn designs, adding a DIY aspect to the CD production giving Petal Dance a unique touch to their products.
